Licensing
1. This is allowed
- For every item you are granted a Single-Use license on a non-exclusive, commercial, worldwide and revocable basis. You can purchase multiple licenses for the same item and thus use the item as often as you have purchased it. Every item you buy on workers.shop contains a worker script and the instructions on how to use the script. A worker script is a plain text snippet designed to be deployed to a Cloudflare worker which can be assigned to a Cloudflare zone which is part of a Cloudflare account. It enables the Cloudflare worker to perform specific tasks on the response returned by the Cloudflare services when requested by a client.
- A Single Use is the deployment of the worker script of the purchased item within a single Cloudflare zone. This means that for example you need to purchase two licenses when intending to use an item in two different Cloudflare zones within the same Cloudflare account.
- A license is valid from the date of the purchase. It does not expire. It can be revoked by workers.shop, anytime (See 3.7).
2. This is prohibited
- The item can only ever be used by you, the original purchaser. This means that you cannot transfer it to someone else, or allow it to be used by someone else.
- It is not allowed to share or redistribute the item or to make it publicly accessable in any other way even if you modify it.
3. Other license terms
- There might be additional terms of license added to specific items. Those terms will then be valid in respect of this license.
- For some items, a GNU General Public License (GPL) or another open source license applies. The terms of any open source license will be embedded as part of the item itself. For any parts of the item subject to the open source license, those open source license terms will apply to the extent that is determined by the open source license terms and the nature of the item, and this license applies to the rest of the item.
- For some items, a component of the item will be sourced from a third party and different license terms may apply to the component, such as someone else's license or an open source or creative commons license. If so, the component will be identified in the item's specifications on the details page. The other license will apply to that component instead of this license. This license will apply to the rest of the item. For example: A worker script might rely on an external service licensed under a Creative Commons CCBY license. The CCBY license applies to this specific service. This license applies to the rest of the worker script.
- You can only use an item for lawful purposes. You are not allowed to use an item in connection with material which is offensive, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or demeaning, or promotes discrimination.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of the items nor are we responsible for any component of an item sourced from a third party. Content that is used by the author of the item to demonstrate how the item works (for example things like images and illustrations) may have been sourced from a third party and it is your responsibility to check the files to ensure that there is an appropriate license for your intended use.
- This license applies in conjunction with the general terms and conditions of workers.shop. If there is an inconsistency between this license and the general terms, this license will apply to the extent necessary to resolve the inconsistency.
- This license can be terminated for any item if you breach the license and don't remedy the breach. If termination happens, you must stop using the relevant item immediately.
- The owner of each item retains ownership. You can not claim ownership of an item, even if modified, for example through content identification systems.
